The Maretron DSM410 (4.1" display) is the right choice for a secondary monitoring screen at a specific station — helm, nav table, engine room — where a compact display handles one or two focused data groups. The TSM810C is the right choice for a primary monitoring station where all vessel data needs to be accessible in one place, with larger screen real estate for multiple gauges and a touchscreen that works at the helm in offshore conditions. Many installations use both: TSM810C at the main helm for full vessel monitoring, DSM410 units at secondary stations for focused readouts.
