Section 01

Shipping Policy

Effective: June 1, 2026
MeridianRig fulfills orders through authorized suppliers and distribution partners. Your order may ship from a partner warehouse — not from our Ohio business address. Shipping options, rates, and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Tracking is emailed when each shipment dispatches.
1.1 Dropship Fulfillment Model

MeridianRig is an online retailer. We do not maintain inventory at our Ohio business address for customer shipment. Instead, orders are routed to authorized suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners who pick, pack, and ship products directly to you.

Because of this fulfillment model:

  • Your package may ship from anywhere in the continental United States, depending on product and stock location
  • Outer packaging may show supplier, distributor, or carrier branding — not necessarily MeridianRig
  • Processing and transit times may be longer than a traditional brick-and-mortar retailer
  • Orders may arrive in multiple packages from different fulfillment locations
  • All products are new and sourced through authorized supply channels unless otherwise noted on the product page

MeridianRig remains your merchant of record for payment and customer support. Questions about any shipment should be directed to us — not to the return address on a packing slip unless we instruct you otherwise.

1.2 Order Processing Timeline

Orders are reviewed on business days (Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays). Typical timeline:

  • Order review (MeridianRig): 1–2 business days — payment verification, fraud screening, and transmission to fulfillment partner
  • Partner processing: 1–5 business days — picking, packing, and carrier handoff at the fulfillment warehouse
  • Transit: depends on carrier and destination; estimates shown at checkout

These are estimates, not guarantees. High-value orders, oversized freight items, or supplier stock delays may extend processing time. If your order is time-sensitive, contact us before placing it.

1.3 Shipping Carriers & Methods

Most orders ship via UPS or UPS Ground. Available methods and rates are displayed at checkout. Expedited options may be available depending on destination, product size, and fulfillment source.

Large or heavy marine equipment (batteries, radar arrays, life rafts, etc.) may ship via freight carrier (LTL) with different delivery procedures. Freight deliveries may require appointment scheduling, liftgate service, or dock access. Any special delivery requirements are communicated after your order ships.

Transit times shown at checkout are estimates from the dispatch date and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery may vary based on carrier performance, weather, and destination.

1.4 Shipping Costs & Promotions

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on order contents, weight, dimensions, fulfillment source, destination, and selected method. Any free-shipping promotions are shown before you complete payment and may have exclusions (oversized items, batteries, Alaska/Hawaii, freight items, etc.).

1.5 Split Shipments

Because orders may be fulfilled from multiple partner warehouses, a single order frequently ships in multiple packages on different dates. You will receive separate tracking information for each shipment. Additional shipping charges are not applied for split shipments arising from a single order unless disclosed at checkout.

Receiving one package does not mean your entire order has shipped. Check your order confirmation and tracking emails for the full list of expected shipments.

1.6 Shipment Tracking

A tracking link is emailed when each shipment dispatches. Tracking may take 24–48 hours to show activity after the label is created. If you have not received tracking information within 7 business days of your order confirmation, contact us with your order number.

1.7 Stock Availability & Backorders

Product availability displayed on meridianrig.com reflects data from our supplier network and may change without notice. If a supplier cannot fulfill an item after you order:

  • We will contact you with options — substitute product, wait for restock, or full refund
  • We will not hold your payment indefinitely for an unfulfillable item
  • Backordered items ship when stock becomes available; estimated restock dates are provided when known but are not guaranteed
1.8 Shipping Damage Claims

Inspect packages upon delivery. If you see visible damage:

  • Note damage on the carrier delivery receipt where possible
  • Take photos of the outer packaging and product
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number

We coordinate damage claims with our fulfillment partners and carriers. Do not discard damaged packaging until the claim is resolved.

1.9 Lost in Transit

If tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package, check with neighbors and household members, allow a short grace period for carrier scans to update, then contact us so we can open a carrier investigation. Lost-package claims are handled in coordination with the shipping carrier and fulfillment partner.

1.10 High-Value Orders & Signature Delivery

Marine electronics and power-system orders above $2,000 USD may ship with signature confirmation or equivalent carrier delivery verification when available. This protects you and MeridianRig by creating a clear delivery record.

High-value orders may remain in order review for 1–2 business days while payment and shipping details are verified. If we need to confirm your order by phone or email, we will contact you using the information provided at checkout. See Payment Security & Disputes for billing and chargeback guidance.

1.10 Address Accuracy & Refused Delivery

You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout. Packages returned due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or failed delivery attempts may require reshipment at additional cost to you.

For freight deliveries, ensure your delivery location can accommodate the carrier's equipment (dock, forklift access, etc.). Failed freight deliveries due to site inaccessibility may incur redelivery fees.

1.11 Domestic Shipping Only

MeridianRig currently ships to addresses within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii, where available). We do not ship internationally at this time. PO Box delivery may not be available for oversized or freight items.

Shipping questions? Send us a message with your order number. Do not contact fulfillment warehouses directly — we coordinate on your behalf.
Section 02

Returns & Refund Policy

Effective: June 11, 2026
MeridianRig fulfills orders through authorized suppliers and distribution partners. Return eligibility, return destinations, and refund timing depend on the product and fulfillment source. Contact us before sending anything back. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number is required for every return. Full details may be updated from time to time — when in doubt, use our contact page.
2.1 How Dropship Fulfillment Affects Returns

Most orders ship directly from manufacturer warehouses or authorized fulfillment partners — not from our Ohio business address. Because of this:

  • All return requests must be initiated through MeridianRig before any item is shipped back
  • Approved returns are sent to a return address we provide, which may be a supplier or fulfillment center and may differ from where your order shipped from
  • Return authorization and refund processing may take longer than a traditional retail store while we coordinate with our fulfillment partners
  • Outer packaging may show supplier or carrier branding; this does not affect return eligibility when conditions below are met

Do not send returns to our Ohio business address unless we explicitly instruct you to. Unauthorized returns — including returns shipped without an approved RMA — may be refused, lost, or delayed.

2.2 Return Eligibility & Time Limit

Returns may be accepted on new, complete items in original packaging that are resalable, subject to supplier return policies and the conditions below. Not all products qualify.

  • You must request a return within 21 days of delivery (not 30 days). This gives time for RMA approval and return transit before our supplier's own return window closes
  • Once approved, you must ship the return promptly using the RMA instructions we provide. The item must be received and accepted by our fulfillment partner within the supplier's return period — late arrivals may be refused
  • Item must be in new, uninstalled condition, complete with original packaging, accessories, and documentation
  • Return must be approved in writing (email) and include an RMA number before the item is shipped back
  • Your MeridianRig order number is required

Contact us to confirm whether your item is eligible before opening packaging or beginning installation.

2.3 How to Initiate a Return

Do not ship items back without contacting us first. To start a return:

  • Send us a message or email support@meridianrig.com with your order number, item(s), and reason for return
  • We review your request with our fulfillment partner and confirm whether a return is accepted
  • If approved, we send an RMA number and return instructions, including the correct return address
  • Write the RMA number on the outside of the package and include it with any required return paperwork
  • Ship the return using a trackable carrier and retain your tracking number
  • Refunds, when approved, are issued to your original payment method after the fulfillment partner receives, inspects, and accepts the return
2.4 Refund Timing

Because orders are fulfilled through third-party suppliers and warehouses, refund processing typically follows this timeline:

  • Return approval: usually within 2–3 business days of your request, if received within the 21-day request window
  • Partner inspection: after the return is received at the designated return facility
  • Refund issued: typically within 5–15 business days after inspection is complete
  • Bank posting: your financial institution may take additional time to post the credit

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, damaged in transit, or defective product confirmed on arrival).

2.5 Return Shipping & Restocking Fees

Return shipping responsibility depends on the reason for the return:

  • Our error (wrong item, damaged, or defective on arrival): we provide return instructions and cover return shipping where applicable
  • All other approved returns (change of mind, wrong model ordered, etc.): return shipping is typically paid by the customer
  • Restocking fees: approved non-defective returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the product price, as charged by our fulfillment partners. The exact fee, if any, is disclosed when your return is approved — before you ship

On high-ticket marine electronics, a 15% restocking fee can be substantial. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure about fitment or compatibility.

2.6 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not returnable, consistent with supplier restrictions:

  • Non-stock and special-order items — products sourced outside standard inventory
  • Opened or unsealed DVDs, CDs, and cartography — unless defective
  • Activated chart cards, software licenses, or digital products once opened or registered
  • Opened transducers, deployed or opened life rafts, and safety equipment that has been activated or used
  • Items showing signs of installation, modification, or physical damage
  • Products that are incomplete or not in resalable, original packaging

Supplier restrictions may apply even when an item appears unopened. Contact us if you are unsure.

2.7 Order Cancellations Before Shipment

If your order has not yet shipped, contact us immediately to request cancellation. Once an order has been transmitted to a fulfillment partner for processing, cancellation may not be possible. If we cancel your order after payment, a full refund is issued to your original payment method within 3 business days.

If a supplier cannot fulfill your order, we will notify you and offer a full refund or alternative product where possible.

2.8 Manufacturer Warranties

Products sold on meridianrig.com are subject to the manufacturer's written warranty, not a warranty from MeridianRig. Warranty length, coverage, and claim procedures vary by brand and product — refer to the documentation included with your product or the manufacturer's website.

Units requiring service — whether under warranty or otherwise — should be returned or shipped directly to the appropriate manufacturer per their instructions, not through a standard merchandise return unless we direct you otherwise.

MeridianRig does not guarantee specific warranty periods for any brand. We can help point you to the correct manufacturer contact when you have a warranty question, but warranty obligations rest with the manufacturer.

2.9 How to Make a Warranty Claim

If your product fails, contact us with your order number and a description of the issue:

Contact us through our contact page with your order number and a description of the problem. Business phone: +1 216-202-5552.

We will help coordinate next steps with the appropriate manufacturer or fulfillment partner. You may also need to work directly with the manufacturer for repair, replacement, or RMA service.

2.10 Installation & Acceptance

Installation constitutes acceptance. Once a product has been installed, mounted, wired, or integrated into a vessel, it is generally considered used and may not be eligible for return except under a valid manufacturer warranty claim.

MeridianRig is not liable for damage to vessels, equipment, or property arising from product installation or use. Buyers are responsible for reading manufacturer installation manuals, verifying compatibility, and engaging qualified marine technicians when needed.

Questions about a return or refund? Send us a message with your order number within 21 days of delivery. Do not ship returns without an approved RMA number.
Section 03

Pricing & Availability Policy

Effective: June 1, 2026
MeridianRig displays pricing on product pages. This section explains how we handle pricing errors, stock availability, and backorders.
3.1 Price Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure prices displayed on meridianrig.com are accurate and current. Prices may change without notice.

If a pricing error is discovered after you place an order:

  • Underpriced: We will honor the displayed price unless the error is clearly typographical (e.g., a $3,000 chartplotter listed at $30). In cases of obvious typo errors, we will contact you before processing and offer the correct price or a full cancellation.
  • Overpriced: We will refund the difference to your original payment method after we confirm the error.
3.2 Sales, Promotions & Coupon Codes

Promotional prices and coupon codes are valid for the dates and conditions specified in the promotion. Unless stated otherwise:

  • One promo code per order
  • Promo codes cannot be combined unless stated otherwise
  • Promotions apply to in-stock items only; backordered items do not qualify
  • MeridianRig reserves the right to end any promotion at any time without notice

If a promotional item sells out during a sale, contact us for options on orders placed during the promotion period.

3.3 Product Availability

Product availability on meridianrig.com is updated periodically. "In Stock" indicates the product was available as of the last inventory update and may change before your order is processed.

If a product becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you with options including a refund or substitute product where possible.

3.4 Backorders

We do not automatically place items on backorder without customer consent. If you specifically request a backorder for an out-of-stock item:

  • No payment is collected until the item ships
  • We will provide an estimated restock date (subject to manufacturer supply)
  • You may cancel a backorder at any time before it ships with no penalty
  • Backorder pricing is locked at the time of the backorder request

  • Marketing consent records: Until you withdraw consent, plus 3 years
  • Support correspondence: 3 years from the date of the last communication in a thread
  • Analytics data: Up to 26 months (Google Analytics default retention), then automatically purged — only when analytics cookies are enabled

After retention periods expire, data is permanently deleted from our systems and from our Shopify account.

4.6 Your Privacy Rights

All US residents: Right to know, correct, opt out of marketing, and request deletion subject to legal retention obligations.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): Right to know categories and specific pieces of information collected, categories of third parties disclosed, opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information), non-discrimination, limit use of sensitive personal information, and correct inaccurate information.

MeridianRig does not currently alter its data collection or use practices in response to DNT signals from browsers. We treat all visitors consistently regardless of whether a DNT signal is present.

Section 05

Terms of Service

Effective: June 1, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of meridianrig.com and any purchase made through it. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, do not use this website or place an order.
5.1 About MeridianRig

MeridianRig Marine Supply Co. is a registered business entity operating as an online marine supply retailer at meridianrig.com. All references to "MeridianRig," "we," "us," or "our" refer to MeridianRig Marine Supply Co.

MeridianRig is the merchant of record for all purchases on this website. We sell products listed on meridianrig.com and provide customer support for orders, returns, and warranty coordination. We do not operate a public retail storefront or customer pickup location at our Ohio business address.

For business correspondence, use the contact information in Section 5.19 below. For legal and compliance matters, see also our Legal Notice (Section 06).

5.2 Dropship Fulfillment Model

MeridianRig fulfills customer orders through a network of authorized suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners using a dropship model. Under this model:

  • When you place an order, MeridianRig accepts payment and transmits fulfillment instructions to the appropriate partner
  • Products are shipped directly from partner warehouses to your delivery address
  • MeridianRig does not take physical possession of products before they reach you
  • Package labeling and packing materials may reflect the fulfillment partner, not MeridianRig branding
  • Processing, shipping, and delivery timelines are subject to partner availability and carrier performance

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this fulfillment model. Detailed shipping terms are in our Shipping Policy (Section 01). Return terms are in our Returns & Refund Policy (Section 02).

5.3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order on meridianrig.com. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into a binding contract, are authorized to use the payment method provided, and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

If you are placing an order on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

5.4 Products

All products listed on meridianrig.com are:

  • New — unused and in original manufacturer packaging unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product listing
  • Genuine — new products from established manufacturers unless explicitly stated otherwise in the listing
  • Accurately described — we rely on manufacturer-provided specifications; minor variations in appearance from product photography may occur

We reserve the right to limit quantities of any product sold per customer or per household. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without notice.

Product descriptions, specifications, and pricing are provided in good faith but may contain typographical errors. We reserve the right to correct errors and to cancel orders based on incorrect product information, subject to notifying you and offering a full refund.

MeridianRig sells products designed, manufactured, tested, and certified by independent third-party manufacturers. MeridianRig does not design, engineer, manufacture, test, certify, or quality-inspect any product sold on this site. All product performance claims, specifications, safety ratings, waterproofing ratings, and certifications originate with and are the sole responsibility of the respective manufacturer.

All product warranties are obligations of the respective manufacturer, not of MeridianRig. MeridianRig may assist customers with warranty questions as a courtesy, but such assistance does not create any warranty obligation on the part of MeridianRig beyond what is expressly stated in the manufacturer's written warranty.

5.5 Pricing

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time you complete your order is the price you pay, except in cases of verified pricing errors (see Section 5.4).

Price changes between adding an item to your cart and completing checkout do not apply retroactively if you completed checkout before the price changed. However, if your cart session expires and you re-open it after a price change, the updated price applies.

5.6 Orders & Order Acceptance

Placing an order on meridianrig.com constitutes an offer to purchase at the stated price and terms. An order is not confirmed until you receive an Order Confirmation email from us. After confirmation, your order is transmitted to a fulfillment partner for processing and shipment.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, supplier stock unavailability, shipping restrictions, order quantity limits, or failure to verify identity for high-value orders.

If a fulfillment partner cannot supply an item after your order is placed, we will contact you with options including a substitute product, backorder wait, or full refund. If we cancel your order after payment has been collected, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 3 business days.

5.7 Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover (credit and debit), PayPal, Shop Pay, Shop Pay Installments (financing through Affirm, subject to credit approval), and Apple Pay (where supported).

We may contact you to verify large orders before processing. Orders may be held for fraud screening, address verification, or identity confirmation — especially when billing and shipping addresses differ or order value is high. For commercial inquiries, contact us.

By providing a payment method, you authorize MeridianRig to charge the full order amount including applicable taxes and shipping fees. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that information submitted at checkout is accurate.

If you have questions about how a charge appears on your statement, see Payment Security, Fraud Prevention & Disputes and contact us before initiating a chargeback.

5.8 Sales Tax

MeridianRig collects sales tax on orders shipped to Ohio, as required by Ohio Revised Code. Orders shipped to all other states are currently not subject to sales tax collection by MeridianRig.

Note: your state of residence may require you to self-report and remit use tax on out-of-state purchases. Consult a qualified tax advisor.

5.9 Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy (Section 01 of this document), which is incorporated herein by reference. Because orders ship from fulfillment partner warehouses, delivery timelines are estimates — not guarantees. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier at the fulfillment partner's shipping dock. Any damage, loss, or delivery claims must be processed through MeridianRig in accordance with our Shipping Policy — do not contact fulfillment warehouses directly.

5.10 Returns & Warranties

Returns and warranties are governed by our Returns & Warranty Policy (Section 02 of this document), incorporated herein by reference.

Disclaimer of Implied Warranties: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MeridianRig disclaims all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Manufacturer warranties are passed through to the buyer as described in Section 02 and are subject to the manufacturer's own warranty terms and conditions.

5.11 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: MeridianRig's total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase or use of our website shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific product giving rise to the claim.

MeridianRig is not liable for delays, errors, or failures by fulfillment partners, carriers, or manufacturers; supplier stock shortages or backorders; indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, business, data, or goodwill; vessel damage, personal injury, or property damage resulting from product use or failure; loss of use of a vessel or equipment; or damages arising from reliance on product descriptions, specifications, or compatibility information provided on our site.

All marine electronics and power systems are sold for use by qualified marine operators following manufacturer installation and operating guidelines.

5.12 Intellectual Property

By using meridianrig.com, you agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose; attempt unauthorized access; use automated tools without written permission; introduce harmful code; impersonate any person or entity; post false reviews; or engage in conduct that interferes with site operation. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access at any time, for any reason, without notice.

5.14 Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution First: Before initiating any formal dispute process, contact us or email support@meridianrig.com to attempt an informal resolution.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

Jurisdiction: Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Geauga County, Ohio. You consent to personal jurisdiction in these courts.

Waiver of Class Action: To the extent permitted by law, any dispute must be resolved on an individual basis. You waive the right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against MeridianRig.

5.15 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MeridianRig Marine Supply Co. and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of meridianrig.com; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any third-party rights; or any product you use in a manner inconsistent with its manufacturer's guidelines.

5.16 Changes to These Terms

MeridianRig reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or a prominent site banner at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the site and may request deletion of your account.

5.17 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

5.18 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns & Refund Policy, and Legal Notice (all contained within this document), constitute the entire agreement between you and MeridianRig concerning the subject matter herein and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, or understandings, whether written or oral.

Life rafts, EPIRBs, PLBs, personal flotation devices, flares, fire extinguishers, harnesses, tethers, and all other products intended for use in maritime emergency situations ("Safety Products") are sold by MeridianRig in their original manufacturer condition.

MeridianRig makes no warranty, guarantee, or representation — express or implied — regarding the performance of any Safety Product in any emergency situation. All Safety Products are subject solely to the manufacturer's own warranty and performance specifications.

Buyers of Safety Products are solely responsible for registering EPIRBs and PLBs with NOAA; verifying USCG carriage requirements; ensuring life rafts are serviced at manufacturer-specified intervals; inspecting equipment prior to each voyage; and ensuring crew training in proper deployment and use.

MeridianRig expressly disclaims all liability for the failure, malfunction, or non-performance of any Safety Product in any emergency or non-emergency situation.

5.22 Force Majeure

MeridianRig shall not be liable for any delay, failure, or inability to perform any obligation where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, port closures, carrier disruptions, product recalls, cybersecurity incidents, labor disputes, supplier or fulfillment partner outages, manufacturer discontinuations, or supply chain disruptions.

In the event of a force majeure event affecting an order:

  • We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible if your order is affected
  • We will provide an updated estimated fulfillment timeline where possible
  • If we cannot fulfill your order within 30 days, you may cancel for a full refund with no penalty
  • We will not charge your payment method for any order that remains unshipped due to a force majeure event beyond 30 days without your explicit consent to continue waiting

Force majeure events do not relieve you of your obligation to pay for orders already shipped and in transit.

5.23 No Oral or Informal Modification of Terms or Warranties

These Terms of Service and all product warranties may only be modified by a written amendment signed by an authorized officer of MeridianRig Marine Supply Co. No statement made by any MeridianRig employee, contractor, or agent — whether by telephone, email, text message, live chat, social media, or any other means — shall modify, expand, limit, or supersede these Terms or create any warranty beyond those expressly stated in the manufacturer's written warranty and these Terms.

Specific statements our staff may make that do not constitute warranties include statements that a product "should work" or "will likely be compatible," popularity comparisons, product recommendations, and estimated delivery dates.

If you believe you have received a specific written commitment from MeridianRig that differs from these Terms, contact legal@meridianrig.com with the written record before placing your order.

Questions about any of these terms? Send us a message through our contact page.

Payment Security, Fraud Prevention & Disputes

Effective: June 2026
MeridianRig uses industry-standard payment security and reviews orders to reduce fraud and mistaken chargebacks. This section explains how charges appear on your statement, how we verify high-value orders, and how to resolve billing questions quickly.
6.1 How Charges Appear on Your Statement

Depending on your card issuer and payment method, charges from MeridianRig may appear as MERIDIANRIG, MERIDIANRIG MARINE, meridianrig.com, or a close variant of our business name. The amount should match your order confirmation email and checkout total (including tax and shipping).

If you do not recognize a charge, check your email for an Order Confirmation from support@meridianrig.com before contacting your bank. Legitimate orders are confirmed by email immediately after checkout.

6.2 Order Verification & Fraud Screening

All orders are screened for fraud indicators. We may delay or cancel an order if we cannot verify payment authenticity, shipping address risk, or buyer identity. For high-value marine electronics orders, we may contact you by phone or email to confirm billing details, shipping address, and order contents before transmitting the order to a fulfillment partner.

We reserve the right to request additional verification (such as government-issued ID matching the cardholder name, or confirmation that the shipping address is yours) before shipping. Failure to complete verification within a reasonable time may result in order cancellation and refund.

6.3 Billing Address & Shipping Address

Your billing address must match the address on file with your card issuer. Orders shipped to an address that does not match the billing address may require additional verification, especially for expensive items. We do not ship to known freight-forwarding or reshipper addresses without verification.

6.4 Contact Us Before Disputing a Charge

If you have a question about a charge, contact us first. Email support@meridianrig.com or use our contact page with your order number, the charge amount, and the date on your statement. We respond to billing inquiries as quickly as possible — usually within one business day.

Many issues (delayed tracking, split shipments, statement descriptor confusion, duplicate authorization holds) are resolved faster through MeridianRig than through a card dispute. Filing a chargeback before contacting us may delay shipment, returns, or warranty support while the dispute is investigated.

6.5 Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider, we will provide transaction records to the payment processor, including order details, AVS/CVV verification results where available, delivery confirmation, and customer communication. Orders under active dispute may be cancelled if not yet shipped; shipped orders remain subject to our Returns Policy.

Fraudulent chargeback claims (disputing a legitimate order you received, or claiming unauthorized use without basis) may result in account restriction and referral to collections or law enforcement where appropriate.

6.6 Proof of Delivery

High-value shipments may require signature confirmation or carrier delivery verification. Tracking numbers and delivery scans are retained for dispute resolution. Retain your order confirmation and shipping emails as proof of purchase for warranty and support.

Despite our efforts, some areas of meridianrig.com may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. Known limitations include:

We are actively working to address these limitations.

We will review accessibility reports and work to resolve reported issues where technically feasible.

7.5 Third-Party Content

MeridianRig uses third-party services including Shopify (checkout and account management), Google Analytics, Google Ads, PayPal, and Shop Pay. These services are governed by their own accessibility policies and standards. We select third-party providers in part based on their commitment to accessibility, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party interfaces.

7.6 Continuous Improvement

We review our accessibility practices annually and after any significant site redesign. We conduct accessibility testing using both automated tools and manual testing with assistive technologies. This policy will be updated to reflect ongoing improvements.
